Clean the fork legs
Wipe both lower legs with isopropyl. The guard fits flush — grit between surfaces will scratch.

Slide on the guard
Push up from the bottom of the fork leg. Align the top edge with the lower-leg seam.

Torque the hardware
Two stainless bolts through the retention tabs. 3 Nm each. No drilling, no modification required.
Tools needed: 4mm hex key, torque wrench
