Crosslinked Components was founded in 2021 with the goal of creating durable swingarm protection. We changed the status quo for swingarm protection from cheap plastic to a true protection product.
Swingarm Guards were just the beginning. Since then, we've kept the same mindset—turning every brutal ride or race into our next innovation.
The Name "Crosslinked components"
Crosslinked refers to a concept from materials science where individual polymer chains or molecular structures are bonded together to form a stronger, more resilient network (Through Crosslinking). These crosslinks create a material that is tougher, more durable, and better able to withstand stress, compared to materials without crosslinking.
At Crosslinked Components, this idea isn't just about chemistry, it's the core of our brand.
We design parts that are "crosslinked" by purpose: highly engineered, interconnected in strength, performance, and design. Like molecular crosslinks, every Crosslinked Components part is built to endure extreme forces, resist wear, and perform under the harshest conditions.
Ride Hard isn't just a tagline, it's a promise that every piece we build is able to survive your best (and worst) moments on a Dirtbike.

Early Days
Crosslinked Components was forged in the early days by three members: Devin Funaro, Bryce Barsnick, and Tyler Jacobsen — the original Senior Design Team. We set out with a simple goal: build the best swingarm guards on the market, and do it fast. Tyler decided not to pursue crosslinked components after school, but contributed greatly to the initial designs and test campaigns as part of his senior design project.
Bryce has since moved on to new opportunities, but played a key role in the ethos and development of crosslinked components.
During that academic year, we succeeded in creating a unique new design, manufacturing prototypes, and completing low-volume production entirely with our own hands. We launched the business and began selling our first swingarm guards, slowly inching forward, one step at a time.
It was an incredibly tough process — and only the beginning of the grit needed to keep growing. Much like a Hard Enduro race, there are highs and lows, and the only thing that gets you to the finish line is pure determination. If you don't care enough to push ahead, you will naturally quit. We chose to keep moving forward.

First Prototypes
Building swingarm guards at our college campus, making a vision reality. It took approximately 6 revisions to make a usable swingarm guard.

Real World Testing
We have always recognized the extreme nature of our products usage. For that reason you have to get them in the field to understand if they will last long term.

Grit
From 2021-2022 We built swingarm guards, in 100F degree weather inside a tent with a 500F oven.

Growing
Crosslinked Components is currently in a growth phase. We have sucsesfully built a scalable manufacturing system for our first product line (after 2.5 long years of struggle).
This means Devin has been able to turn his attention to developing new products. With a mind that can't turn off, he has created a few more innovations with the same quality and innovative designs as our original product.

Skid Plate Collaboration
Working together in hard enduro is sometimes the best strategy, working with the best name in skid plates, SXS was a no brainer.

The only Full Wrap Fork Guards
Forks are expesnive and fragile. They need protection from big hits and mud/debris. Our fork guards are going to change the game.

Integrated Tab Guard / Chain Guide
In engineering, the best designs are integrated together. Why not have a chain guide and swingarm tab guard integrated together ?
Thanks for being a part of Crosslinked Components' story. We are just getting started, so buckle up and join in on the wild ride.
