I had the regular sxs plate and this new duo one is way better. The old one had two bolts exposed on the bottom that would get hung up on rocks/logs. This is super slick on the bottom with no bolts exposed (they are recessed) so you don’t get stuck and it’s extra thick which helps because the standard sxs plate isn’t thick enough to protect the frame from big hits. Also this one has 6 bolts that secures it so it’s extra secure and uses OEM frame skid plate mounting holes. The metal hook bracket that secures the skid plate is what separates the sxs from others because on others it will fall off eventually, not the case with this. This one also covers the water pump better. C class rider with experience in 12 US hard enduro races. 2024 KTM 300 XCW
