As a shop owner and guy who rides a ton, I have always been against swing arm guards because they were flimsy and fell off on the trail. Then I saw these on a buddy’s bike. They are crazy burly and the way they attach insures they can’t fall off.
I bought a pair because I decided to dip my toe into the hard enduro thing. I am sooooo happy I did. They have saved my swing arm from so much abuse. On top of that, these guys are the best. They actually ride this stuff and kick ass at it too! Thanks boys!
I’ve been running these swingarm guards for the past couple months now and I have to say I’m impressed. It took me 5 minutes to install and the fitment is perfect on my 23’ 300 xcw. I’ve really bashed on these guards in the unforgiving SoCal terrain and they haven’t budged one bit! These guards will protect your investment and really help with the resale value of the bike too!
For all of last year I didn’t even run swing arm guards. Now as I go to try and sell that bike as I’ve upgraded, I regretted not having some form of protection on such and irreplaceable part such as my swing arm, overall it just makes the bike look not as maintained. However on the new bike, I was going to take ZERO chances with protection parts. Being that I race hard enduro races, you have to expect the worst, nastiest, grueling conditions there is. The last thing I need in a race is to have my equipment fail/ fall off. With these guards I think it’s impossible for them to fall off and cause any kind of delays during an event or ride. They are made from extremely thick plastic so in the event that you are in rock fields, I’ve noticed that they don’t get hung up and snagged on the rocks. All around I think these are some of the best swing arm guards on the market! I’ve tried some of the cheaper ones before and they seem to fall off on the first ride I have them on the bike. If your even thinking about buying some, go for it. It’s one decision that I made that helps me sleep a little better at night! Awesome product
My whole hard enduro and Endurocross career I’ve struggled running other Swingarm guards held on my zip ties. They’ve always fallen off instantly. These Guards are incredible! They can take a beating with hours of rocks, trees and other objects slamming into them non-stop. 10/10 recommend
